We are a haven for readers of strange fiction, a home for writers with a taste for the mind-bending and macabre. Our mission is to platform short fiction that unsettles, unnerves, and lingers. Stories that thrum on the page for now, but might one day live on the screen. In addition to publishing original prose, our Audiofiles imprint adapts select stories for audioβmoody, cinematic recordings designed to haunt your headphones. Whether read in silence or heard in stereo, our stories burrow deep.

We love elevated genre, psychological horror, supernatural dread, grounded sci-fi, and anything strange that simmers with atmosphere. Voice-driven, character-forward, unforgettable. Those are the stories we devour. Weβre particularly drawn to stories with a cinematic spine. Premise-forward, plot-rich, built to linger long after βThe End.β
- We accept original, unpublished short fiction.
- A speculative element is essential, but how you interpret that is half the fun.
- Simultaneous submissions are welcome. Just let us know if your piece gets picked up elsewhere.
- Thereβs no hard word count, but 6,000-8,000 words is our sweet spot.
- We're here for human storytelling. AI-generated submissions will not be considered.
